What's Your Formula For Success?

Success? Success with what? It doesn't really matter. The same principles apply for success in business, weight management, better relationships, spiritual maturity, dream vacations....and especially to create a healthy home.

. Be Bold. Think Big. Go after what you want.

. Be Specific. Set dates for your goals and commit.

. To create massive results, it takes massive action.

. Stay grounded. Build your beliefs. Be unshakable.

. Always be learning, attending seminars, reading, listening to CD's etc.

. Make changes step by step so that your goals aren't overwhelming.

And for building a business with Usana (you can adapt these ideas for a traditional business)

. Care about people. Be genuinely interested in what's important to THEM.

. You don't have to have a big existing network. You can meet people anywhere. Build new relationships. Join new groups. Ask for referrals.

. Team up and create a friendly supportive win-win atmosphere. Make life fun.

. Busy is just a state of mind. When your vision is big enough, you will make the time to achieve it.

. Be compassionate. Don't forget that the "Usana Difference" is not just in the products and business opportunity, but in our sense of family and the integrity of the company. We believe in creating a healthy home environment in every way and helping others do the same.

There are many "Formulas for Success". Keep it simple. With a positive attitude, you will attract wonderful people with big dreams who are ready to take action.

Christmas on a Cruise Ship and a Tax Deduction

How do you put Christmas on a cruise ship together with a tax deduction?

First. Do you have a home-based business? Also, are you Canadian?

Second. Will you be doing business while on the cruise? For example, will the company you represent be holding meetings and trainings during that time? Will you be speaking to other people on the cruise about your business?

Third. Are you actively building a home-based business throughout the year?

In Canada, your trip can be a tax deduction. Check for details with your tax professional.

Looking for Secrets to Pay Off Debts, Live Without Fear?

Did you know that the majority of families are within three months of bankruptcy?

If their paychecks stopped, their savings are too limited to give them six to twelve
months to find another job.

You have the answer. Be free of bosses, set hours, employees and glass ceilings.

How? By networking. The world survives on it, but you can help others live wonderfully off of networking. You refer people to good restaurants, hair salons, financial planners, car dealerships. Wouldn't it be nice if you could get a commission for doing that? That is what network marketing does for you.

That is one of the biggest secrets to paying off debts, living without fear, and finding financial freedom. Be inspired to experience that for yourself, and then help others do the same.

1. Be inspired with a big "why". What are the costs to you if you don't take the initiative to push past your comfort zones and spread the word about your network marketing company? Could you lose your house? Could you not give your kids a university education? Would your retirement years be limited?

2. What is your "Why" on the reward side? If money was no longer an issue, where would you travel? What charity would you help in a bigger way? Would you like a better home or car? Could you help someone get through university? How about you? What are your personal dreams?

3. Team up with successful people. Follow their system.

4. Be a constant learner. The more you grow personally and develop your skills, the faster your income with grow.

5. Take action. While it is important to set written goals and plans, you must take daily action steps and follow up with your contacts. You've heard it before: the fortune is in the follow up. So, have a system to do that.

6. Balance your life with play, persistence, patience, passion and prayer. Do your part and cooperate with God on the results.

7. Be thankful, whatever the outcome. Gratitude spills over into every area of your life and attracts good people to you. As you walk in praise and thanksgiving, your troubles will seem smaller and you'll be amazed at the way answers will come your way.

Hope in Financial Difficulties

First of all, the good news. There is always hope for a new door to open, hope for the future, whatever a person's circumstances. Inspired sponsoring is the way to help others create greater income.

I can look back on so many seemingly hopeless situations in my life, large or small, and see financial breakthroughs that helped me become a better, stronger person.

Right now, we are bombarded with bad news blaring on the front page every morning. People losing their jobs. Struggling to pay the bills. Violence. Health problems. Bad air. Poisoned water and food.

So what kind of hope can we offer?

1. First, hope that somebody cares. We can listen. Ask questions. Help them describe their strengths, places where they have been successful in life. Then, discover together how they can believe in themselves and create a better life.

2. Introduce the concept of teamwork. Leveraging time and efforts together so that everyone wins.

3. Develop a plan of action for another stream of income through referral marketing. With the right company, products and compensation plan, the possibilities for income are unlimited.

3. People have been let down in a variety of ways in their lives. They need to know there is someone they can trust to coach and cheer them along the way.

4. Success is also a balance of experience, training, planning and action. An important part of the balance, is a person's spiritual walk, their attitudes and commitments. If a person is truly searching for strength and truth, we are happy to share our spiritual experience should it be relevant for them.

Yes, there is always hope. It's a great gift to offer people.
